2 Juno Awards for “Going Home Star”!

Saturday night, April 1 at the Juno Awards gala in Ottawa, Christos Hatzis, the composer of the work, “Going Home Star”, won the Juno Award for Classical Composition of the Year and the album of the same name won the Juno Award for Classical Recording of the Year (orchestra/large ensemble).

It was my pleasure and privilege to work on this recording with Christos Hatzis, and conductor Tadeusz Biernacki and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and a deep honour to be part of the post-production team alongside Christos and Aaron Tsang.

Congratulations also to the performers Tanya Tagaq, and Steve Wood and the Northern Cree Singers who made this impressive work come to life. Thank you to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet for letting me be a part of it.

Pre-flight check. Getting ready to start.
