Catching Up

I have had a lazy, relaxed, summer followed immediately by a busy fall season. Between the laziness and the busy-ness, I have neglected posting what has been going on with JDRS in the intervening months. I will be posting some highlights from the past while in the next few days in an attempt to catch up and share what has been going on in my part of the world.

With Halloween just wrapping up and fall at the midway point, I will leave you with a few scenes from this summer at Buffalo Point, Manitoba and then later in the Brockville, Ontario region with my lovely wife, Sandra. This is what I want to be able to recall once Winnipeg’s winter approaches.

Calm beach behind the cottage at Buffalo Point

Beach on the south shore of Lake of the Woods
Geese crowding the 3rd green
Lake freighter on the St. Lawrence
Approaching a bridge that joins Ontario to New York state
Cruising the mighty St. Lawrence River

An afternoon "snack" at our friends' home in Brockville
Having a sip on the wine tour
