Glenn Buhr with The Broken Songs Band at St. Norbert Arts Centre

On July 28, JDRS set up for a concert recording of Glenn Buhr and The Broken Songs Band at the St. Norbert Arts Centre. Glenn and his wife and musical partner, Margaret Sweatman were commemorating a milestone in their personal lives. It was 20 years since they were forced to move from their St. Norbert home because of the “Flood of the Century” that occurred in Winnipeg in 1997.

It was a hot and humid day with a full house in attendance, windows wide open with no air conditioning. Along with Glenn and Margaret were bassist, Gilles Fournier, and guitarist, Al Beardsell.

From Glenn Buhr’s YouTube channel, here’s a video of “Blade Runner Windows” from that show.
