Jazz Winnipeg Swings Into Production at the Burt

For the second year, Jazz Winnipeg has had to go virtual for its annual Jazz Winnipeg Festival. Last year, JW presented a well received series, Live From the Alt Hotel, with 6 bands presented over 6 consecutive weekly online shows. This year, Jazz Winnipeg has chosen the iconic Winnipeg venue, the Burton Cummings Theatre to showcase 6 acts in the coming weeks. Videographer, Ivan Hughes, directed the video production and Joe Dudych Recording Services tracked the audio. The six shows were shot over two days on July 8 and 9, and will appear online weekly starting on July 22.
