JDRS at WSO’s 2018 New Music Festival

For lovers of contemporary new music, the Manitoba Centennial Concert Hall will be the place to be as the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra launches its 27th New Music Festival,  January 27 to February 2. I am so pleased to announce that JDRS has been asked to record on the fifth night of the festival entitled Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson: Dark Matter , specifically, Hilmarsson’s work, 7 Friends (2017) for choir & orchestra, which is a world premiere commissioned by the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. Featured with the WSO are soprano, Jane Fingler, and choir, Prairie Voices.
