Karl Stobbe gets a Juno Nom!

Ysaÿe Sonatas For Solo Violin, which I recorded in 2013 and was released this past May, was nominated for a Juno Award in the Classical Album of the Year: Solo or Chamber Ensemble category. My congratulations to Karl Stobbe who turned in a stunning set of performances on this album. The awards will be held this coming March 9 – 15 during Juno Week in Hamilton, ON.

You can find this album on Avie Records  http://www.avie-records.com/advanced-search/?search_type=artist&search=stobbe

I will keep you posted on the results.
